Martyn Love was an active composer, pianist and educator to many young and aspiring students. He worked successfully in a career in music that endured for more than forty years. His compositional worked covered an immense array of genres, including film scores, television series, animated productions and library music. His piano work was always in great demand and his repertoire ranged from classical piano to jazz to latin and popular contemporary.
Much of his musical journey was accompanied by renowned singer, Jenny Love, Martyn’s loving wife of twenty-eight years. Together, Martyn and Jenny had two sons, Harry and Hudson, who are now 20 and 15 respectively.
Tragically, on the 27 th April 2019, Martyn was killed in an accident whilst attending a wedding for a close friend. Martyn leaves behind a family, not only mourning their beloved father and husband, but also leaving a grieving family with no immediate means of support.
Jenny became ill ten years ago with a chronic fatigue related illness, requiring periodic hospitalisation and severely restricting Jenny’s ability to perform and work within the music industry.
