In the latest instalment of The Australian Road Crew Association’s (ARCA) hugely popular Desk Tape Series, Russell Morris and the Rubes have released their live performance at The Palladium in 1982, produced by sound engineer Mark “Ramjet” Williams.

The Desk Tape Series was created to raise funds and resources for Support Act’s Roadies Fund to provide financial, health, counselling and wellbeing services for roadies and crew in crisis.

Co-founders and Directors of ARCA, Ian Peel and Adrian Anderson, explain: “ARCA and The Desk Tape Series is a small way we can help our mates get some self-worth and recognition for their contribution to the Aussie music industry and help if they are in crisis. It is a great honour for us to be able to present these memories to all.”

ARCA is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the welfare of live production crew in Australia, assisted by a collective of industry professionals, all freely giving their energy and time to the cause.

Available now on ARCA’s Black Box Records through MGM Distribution and on all major streaming services. Check out the latest recordings here.
