Support Act has appointed Jemma Arundel as its new Fundraising Manager.
Arundel brings over 18 years’ experience to the role from a wide range of not-for-profit organisations including the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, Youngcare and Alzheimer’s Australia.
She will be responsible for growing the charity’s fundraising programs to ensure it can continue to support those in the community that need it most.
Arundel explains: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Support Act. The work we do providing crisis relief support and mental health and wellbeing services to the music industry is so important, and makes a huge difference to people’s lives. I’m excited to grow the fundraising programs so we can further increase our reach and our impact.”
As the first staff member in Queensland to join the team, Arundel will also be assisting the charity to expand its services into the Sunshine State in the months to come.
CEO, Clive MIller, adds: “As the number of people we are helping continues to grow across the country, we’re delighted to now have a member of staff based in Brisbane who can be on the ground, listening to what the music community needs and how we can better support them.”
