Support Act, has today announced the appointment of Robyn Jelleff as a member of its board.

Robyn brings over 30 years’ experience in live touring and events to the role as the Managing Director of live entertainment production company, Jelleff & Co.

Starting out as a lighting designer in early 80’s Melbourne, Robyn later made her way to London, touring the UK, Europe and USA extensively throughout the 80’s and 90’s. During this time she made the move from lighting to show production, tour and event management, eventually becoming co-director of True North, a UK-based production company. She was also a founding member of the Production Services Association UK (PSA).

Since returning to Australia in 2000, Robyn continued to run her own company, working predominantly in touring and events. She is a member of CrewCare and for the past two years has been the Project Manager of their Weasle Eicke Scholarship training program. In 2018 she took out the award for ‘Live Production’ at the inaugural Australian Women in Music Awards.

Lynne Small, Co-Chair of Support Act, explains: “We warmly welcome Robyn to the Support Act Board and are thrilled to have someone with such fantastic industry credentials in the role. She’ll be a great addition to the already stellar wealth of experience and knowledge in our dedicated board members.”

Robyn adds: “I am very honoured to have been selected to join the Support Act Board and I look forward to working with the other board members to continue the great work that Support Act does within our music industry community in this country.

“I also look forward to further developing ways in which we can make our industry a safer, fairer and healthier workplace for all of us”.

Robyn’s appointment was made following a call out for Expressions of Interest earlier in the year and resulted in a number of excellent applications.  The board would like to acknowledge and thank all those who expressed interest.
