Creative Minds

A workshop to help you refresh your mindset, reignite your creativity and enhance your self-care strategies with reflective, playful, and supportive prompts and activities.

Reignite your creative practices and reconnect with your why through Support Act’s Creative Minds, an engaging, immersive workshop, created for musicians, artists and other creatives working or emerging across music and the creative industries.

The workshop is designed to help participants challenge and expand their existing notions of creativity, and develop practical strategies to boost divergent thinking, expand self-awareness and bolster often overlooked self-care practices that can alleviate psychological distress and insulate from further risk of mental ill health.

Now more than ever, artists, musicians and creatives need to find ways to reconnect with their creative vision and be agile and courageous in an unpredictable and competitive landscape. Reach out to see how we might bring a Creative Minds session to your workplace, event or community.

  • Values and the importance of “defining your why” when it comes to creative pursuits
  • How to use elements of positive psychology to nurture conditions for creativity, including the importance of play, environment, flow-states, mindfulness and downtime
  • Creative tools and techniques to help participants operate in the system of creativity, and explore the four laws of creative success

What to expect

Creative Minds can be offered as a one-day intensive (which includes all the content above) or shorter formats ranging from 90min – 3hrs, with content specifically tailored to the needs and interests of your team or community.
