Support Act is pleased to be partnering with Australia’s leading suicide intervention training organisation, LivingWorks, to provide music industry organisations access to free Suicide Prevention Training.
Why Suicide Prevention training?
According to our Mental Health and Wellbeing in Music and Live Performing Arts 2022 survey, people who work in music are four and a half times more likely to contemplate or attempt suicide than the general population.
The program is a proven, evidence-based program that has been developed with input from experts in suicide prevention, education, psychology, public health, social work and more.
This Suicide Prevention Training has been proven to increase the confidence of participants to intervene through a powerful four-step model.
