Support Act is the music industry’s charity, delivering crisis relief services to musicians, managers, crew and music workers across all genres who are unable to work due to ill health, injury, a mental health problem or some other crisis.
Our very first free and online Money Moves – Financial Wellbeing Webinar will be taking place on Monday 26 August from 3pm-4pm (AEST).Â
This webinar will run through how independent artists, managers, crew and music workers can help improve their financial literacy with a non-judgmental lens.Â
Crew worker Ben reached out to us after experiencing a serious health issue. At the time, Ben wasn’t able to work and support his family and the stress was getting too difficult to manage.
The Crisis Relief Grant we were able to provide thanks to the generosity of our donors covered some of Ben’s rent payments. We were also able to provide some grocery vouchers to ease the financial strain.Â
If you can, please donate now to help those in need this Christmas.
