Support Act recognises and celebrates the incredible contribution made by crew – past, present and in the future – to the Australian music industry. We are proud to partner with the following organisations:

CrewCare is all about supporting technical and backstage personnel and their loved ones, those who work or have worked in the Australian live music and entertainment scenes.

Australian Road Crew Association (A.R.C.A)

Support Act is proud to partner with A.R.C.A, a non-profit proprietary company dedicated to helping ROADIES. Together we recognise and celebrate the incredible contribution made by crew to the Australian Music Industry.

We encourage all crew to utilise these services and invite you to share this information with anyone who might benefit.

Crisis Relief

We help artists and music workers facing hardship due to illness, mental health problems, injury or some other crisis, to get back on their feet when they have hit a tough patch or just need breathing space.

Help a Mate

We support friends and family seeking to raise funds for an artist or music worker in crisis. Help a Mate events typically involve a benefit concert and/or online appeal.

Wellbeing Helpline

Our new flagship service is a free, confidential phone counselling service that is available to anyone working in Australian music who needs to talk to someone about any aspect of their wellbeing.

The Australian Road Crew Association has secured the backing of major Australian artists for the release of LIVE soundtracks recorded from venues across Australia and Internationally.

The ARCA Desk Tape Series is an initiative of the Australian Road Crew Association (ARCA), a not for profit organization dedicated to the welfare of live production crew in Australia. ARCA is assisted by a collective of industry professionals, all freely giving their energy and time.

Digital mental health and wellbeing support pack for crew.

Being the first to arrive and the last to leave isn’t easy. It can be a challenge to stay safe, keep focused and remain calm and grounded, given the high job demands faced at work.

Consider this to be your digital support pack, for when you need to take a moment and come back to baseline.
