Angela Doolan
Crisis Relief Team Leader
Originally from New Zealand, Angela has travelled extensively, working in London, Sydney, and most recently has combined passion for travel with working in developing countries through capacity building projects in remote communities in the Philippines and Bougainville, Papua New Guinea. As a social worker, Angela has worked in diverse agencies including area health, non government and local government organisations and leading a not-for-profit community service agency. She has undertaken case, group, community development and advocacy work with those experiencing issues such as domestic violence, cancer and serious illness, living with a disability and navigating the system, ageing and social inclusion.
Angela is a long time music lover, especially attending live music and music festivals – from attending the first Nambassa and Sweetwaters festivals in NZ to BluesFest in Byron Bay. From stadium concerts to intimate venues and impromptu gigs, Angela is excited to be working with an organisation that supports and advocates for workers in the music industry.
