Nathan May is an Adelaide-based singer-songwriter and proud Arabana, Yawuru and Marridjabin man. Raised in Darwin and now living on Kaurna Country, Nathan studied at the University of Adelaide’s Centre for Aboriginal Studies in Music. His country, rock and soul-influenced songwriting explores family, Country, resilience and hope. Nathan also works with young First Nations people in regional South Australia, providing on-Country mentoring and supporting their cultural, personal and creative development. In 2024, he undertook a 12-month APRA Board Observership through APRA AMCOS and NATSIMO and was selected for South Australia’s Robert Stigwood Fellowship Program.
