Support Act has announced its annual fundraiser, AusMusic T-Shirt Day will return on 26 November.
Australian music heavyweights Baker, Boy, Genesis Owusu, Becca Hatch, The Presets, Vera Blue, Kobie Dee, Vanessa Amorosi, Rachael Fahim, Ruby Rodgers, Bachelor Girl, Pacific Avenue, Gang of Youths, Lucia Field (The Wiggles), Ella Hooper, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Ben Lee and more have joined forces to launch AusMusic T-Shirt Day 2026, returning on Thursday, 26 November.
AusMusic T-Shirt Day raises vital funds for workers right across the music ecosystem, including artists, managers, road crew, and technical staff, many of whom experience psychological distress at nearly four times the national average, and more than a third living below the poverty line.
Support Act is calling on music lovers, corporate workplaces, radio networks, and the wider community to turn national pride in Australian music into life-saving support.
Funds raised will directly fund Support Act’s crisis relief grants, free mental health education and training, counselling support via the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline and dedicated First Nations programs.
This year’s theme is “Keep Aussie Music On Rotation – Wear. Share. Donate. Repeat.” with the hero creative (produced by BRING) imagining a playful laundromat setting, where every spin uncovers another favourite tee, another core memory, and another reason to support local music.
Just like dropping a coin into a jukebox starts your favorite track, every donation made to Support Act puts another “coin in” to keep Australian music and the people who make it on rotation.
Julian Hamilton (The Presets) leading ambassador, said:
“Australian music is the soundtrack to our lives, but behind the tunes we love, so many creators and workers face unprecedented financial hardship and mental health challenges. AusMusic T-Shirt Day is our national moment to celebrate Aussie music, wear our favourite tees with pride, and make sure Support Act can keep providing a vital safety net for anyone doing it tough.”
Clive Miller, Chief Executive Officer at Support Act, said:
“AusMusic T-Shirt Day converts national pride in our music scene into direct, tangible relief. Great music fuels great workplace culture, which is why we’re challenging corporate Australia, businesses, and music fans across the country to register teams, host morning teas, match staff donations, and buy an exclusive tee to help take some of the load off artists, crew and music workers doing it tough.”
Pre-sales for the 2026 Limited-Edition T-Shirt Collection — featuring exclusive designs created by top Australian visual artists are officially open, giving fans and workplace teams time to order ahead of 26 November.
This year’s 19-strong range is packed with stories and unique creative visions from across the Australian music landscape, including a concept honouring their Northern Beaches beginnings from rock icons INXS, an exclusive advance print for The Presets’ upcoming Forever after touring festival, and a deeply personal creation for Baker Boy by designer Mina Leunig celebrating culture, heritage, and country. For the first time, Becca Hatch will make her merch debut as part of the limited-edition collection, ahead of her next single release in November, aptly titled, ‘T-Shirt’.
Vanessa Amorosi, Ninajirachi, Bon Scott & Doc Neeson, Gang of Youths, Karnivool, Bachelor Girl, 3%, Genesis Owusu, Mental As Anything and Rob Hirst are among the Australian music icons who are represented with tees designed exclusively for AusMusic T-Shirt Day 2026.
Anchoring the 2026 collection is the official Hero T-Shirt, designed by artist Sebi White, a children’s t-shirt designed by Kylie Strachan at Nomad Create, a t-shirt in support of the Ausify campaign and a CrewCare t-shirt designed by Shannon Trottman and serving as a tribute to the roadies, techs, riggers, and production crews who power every live show behind the scenes.
American Apparel and Love Police return as partners in 2026, generously donating all shirt production and printing costs for the 2026 Limited-Edition T-Shirt Collection, ensuring maximum proceeds directly benefit Support Act and music workers in need.
AusMusic T-Shirt Day is proudly supported by founding partners triple j and ARIA.
